Thomas, I don't think it is the end links, they're fairly new.
The Jeep is also so obnoxious going from P to R or D to R. So clunky too.
The new Girly Jeep have this to coming to a stop, seemed to Get better after TC fluid change from ATF>Magic 247 fluid,
mine have this alitte but not so often, and just when put into D, i might suspect TC case and or yokes Are worn.
For you snobrdkid, it might be yokes or worn transfer case chain thinghy, or just the sloppyniess off the D35
