Pulled out the driveshaft. While I had a Jeep friend ride with me and tell me, they weren't "bad" but something was "up". So, with that being said I'm just going to leave the shaft out until I can re build it or have it rebuilt.

Yoke is seeping a little bit of fluid. Didn't put the new seal in yet.

There was something I noticed, I was pushing up and down on the shaft and noticed a bit of movement. Turns out that ever so slight movement was coming from the yoke on the output shaft... errrrr is that a problem???

Sounds like a bad U joint, which would definitely cause your vibrations.

See my original thought was a U joint too, which I intend to replace them all anyways.

But, the yoke was able to move every so slightly up and in down. Just barely. Not sure how to describe it. Kinda like the output shaft was just slightly too small for the hole it goes through??

Yoke on the axle? Pinion bearing may be on it's way out.

Make sure the shaft is actually moving as well and its not just the yoke moving on the shaft/not tight enough.

This is still possible. Yet its cranked down to 110 foot pounds at the moment. Gonna have another Jeep Club friend check it out sometime this week and go from there.

And this is why I wish dad would have told me that he was going to do that. I believe they are from energy suspension. I would have told him just to order IRO adjustable control arms, again if I knew prior too.

How bad of an idea is it to have those there... *sigh*

Not too bad if it's a mall crawler. I would not want them for trail use. Those bushings need some level of compliance for axle articulation. This will put all the stress normally absorbed by a flexible bushing into the mounts. I have read of body-side mounts cracking. It's why JKS made their arms specifically with a center pivot and firm bushings - to give positive control with good bushings but allow the pivot needed to preserve the mounts.
