should I upgrade my WJ or sell it and get a wrangler?

Im trying to decide whether or not to drop $2000 in my 99 WJ with 130,000 miles or to sell it and get a wrangler for like $12,000...It would be cheaper to just build my WJ but would it be smarter? need yall's help!!

You can correct the sluggish I6 and 32's with a regear in the front and rear axles. Sounds like the WJ would be cheaper to build but if you have the money and like wranglers better then you should switch vehicles. Get which ever one will make you happier.

The 4.0 and bigger tires is like a turtle covered in molasses. Seriously though, they aren't fun to drive and I can't imagine going beyond 31's with the stock 3.55 gears.

the WJ stock isnt fast at all to being with, its not a sports car im running 31's on steelies with some armor and its definitely slower but not buy that much...if your looking to DD it and run trails id go with iro's 3 or 4" lift and run 31's so you wont really have to regear, then throw a locker in there and youll have a really good setup even for DDing...

Mine does ok, you lose a little MPG, But nothing really noticeable in my opinion... it is a really nice set up for a daily Driver and you should not have a problem with it!

P.S. Sorry about my earlier comments, If you saw them.

Wranglers are cool and I like them a lot but at least for me a wrangler was rather impractical since to carry any amount of camping gear, hunting gear or even groceries you lose your back seat. Though sometimes I wish I could put the top down.

Right, I meant that it's a good mix of the two, your heep will not feel that much different on the road and it will be great offroad with 31" MT's.
