How are you doing on gas with your stroker just cause of gas prices. Haha. How is the transmission doing?

they're not the best riding shocks around but they do pretty well. a little on the soft side. but i think the ones i purchased are for a 0-2" lift not specifically 2". so they are probably on the short side. I paid about $50 a piece for mine, but if i had known better i wouldve shoveled out an extra 20 per shock and gotten bilsteins

believe it or not my mpgs are not terrible. i get anywhere from 17-20 highway and around 15 city. the fuel filter really really boosted it. it was a good investment. The trans is still in good shape. but i want to take it in and have the bands adjusted as well as throw a shift kit in it.

Just read this, not much of a build thread yet, more of a repair thread. Hopefully nothing else breaks so you can move on to more things you want to do, instead of have to do.

Hey shush!! Jk I know there isnt much building going on. It's hard to save up for extras when my job destroys everything I need.

Well that is good to hear for sure! that is what I am getting 13/14 city and then can max about 22 on some highways.

Only downside of a shift kit is how hard it will shift?

It will shift harder, but on the up side the clutches won't slip as long while shifting between the gears.

ahhh, so shift time goes way down. Nice. first and second gear in the 42re SUCK, the lag between gears is terrible.

Yeah you know I was thinking about that today I can feel the 1-2 shift the delay it kinda pisses me off... 2-3 is great on mine though.

I've got 31s. It's not that bad. At least it doesn't really bother me.
