You drive a tj, we drive a zj. We have more power while you get more shower. We get the v8 while you get there too late. You have 2 doors well, we have 2 more. Ours costs a grand while yours has a price we cant stand.

well, 5.9 isnt happening for a couple of reasons. one is it had alot of issues and coming up to being a full time college student working 2 jobs, i wont have the time to fix them all. it needed both O2 sensors, needed the VIC repair, rear end, tcase, lots of hatch rust, hatch didnt even open, no rear panel cover, interior was pretty dirty, paint flaking off the bumpers and it burns oil. i still wanted it because it was a diamond in the rough but i dont have the time for it right now and it was pretty abused. if i had room for a 2nd vehicle, i would have done it.
soooo, the buffalo is getting some more attention. came back from this:
and tore the front end down again for this:
my HIDs came in..i drive around with just my fog lights on and its brighter than my normal headlights and fogs but still doesnt blind people. the headlights are my brights until i get the $$$ for those projector headlights.
also got my tow hooks from erbo, made me miss the xj while putting them in lol. i couldnt get the nutstrips in without lifting up the a/c condensor so i took out all the bolts and had my gf pry up the condensor while i put the nut strips on for the front hook mounts. got it all back together and took it for a spin..ah i missed being able to see
as i was sitting in my driveway with the jeep idling, i heard a knocking noise and it sounded like the EVAP knock my buddies had when his EVAP canister got destroyed. i popped the hood and its coming from this
anyone know what that is? i didnt have the energy to trace where it goes. sits right next to the air box. is it for the ABS? why would it be making that noise?

That's the Evap recirc valve. It will tap from time to time running its tests. Totally normal and typical on 4.0's.

Nice! No worries on the recirc purge cylinder(I think that's its official name), every 4.0 I've owned has done that. I gotta bumpstop the rear of the WK before then as well.
