hopefully going on this weekend rims are in at work, tires will be here not next week but the week after. i went with 31x10.5 over 32x11.5 for one, because 32x11.5 KM2s are on a national backorder and no idea when they will be in, and i guess since its a DD, 32s would be overkill haha. but i should have the lift done sunday as long as my buddy is still up for it and then new wheels and tires soon after. and i should be picking up a set of 1" wheel spacers off a fellow JF member soon too. other than that, just looking to muffler options too. i hate the drone my current cheap-o IRO muffler has

thanks man yeah i was surprised how well the paint still shines! cant wait to get some wax on it.

as for the lift its a no go for this weekend. im starting to think i might just do a budget boost..my brother is going to need something to drive next year so i might sell him the jeep and get a truck..who knows, its all still up in the air.

pointless bump i know but im probably going to dive into the lift this weekend. tires should be in this week and bought 1" wheel spacers off a fellow JFer. plus i just swapped out my HIDs for some silverstars. HIDs were getting annoying blinding me off chrome truck bumpers at stop lights and i couldnt see anything in the rain or snow at night since it also threw the light upwards and lit up everything coming towards the windshield.

anyways, im getting ansy to get the jeep in the air so i figured id share.

plus i need opinions on exhaust. i have the IRO 2.5" cat back with a magnaflow hi-flow 2.5" cat.

right now i have the cheap IRO muffler on there and it sounds alright but it drones over 2000rpms. im talking about full cant hear yourself think drone haha, sounds ricer like. i want something a little less loud but still beastly. i was thinking about the flowmaster super 44..anyone have experience with that? it was that or a 50 series or a magnaflow. im going to do that, then cut the piper back, raise the tail pipe and do a turndown right under the bumper to try and get the stock look back. looks ghetto right now.

then after that, im going to tackle some rust (hatch, pass front rocker, doorlips and hood lip) and maybe order a brushgaurd for it. all depends on $$$.

and so this isnt a wasted post, here it is yesterday. promised my mom for mothers day id completely shampoo and clean her car, wash it, clay bar and wax it. did that and found out when her passengers fender, front and rear doors and rear quarter panel were replaced after she nailed a snow bank, the body shop painted it the wrong blue on the fenders and doors. so the factory color looks purple in the sun and the doors and fenders are blue. lol, that sucks.

lol i had one on before the new exhaust and hated it haha. probably does sound alot better without the cat and my stock one was clogged so it rattled on everything.

im probably going to end up going with a magnaflow. my neighbors just had a new born and i feel like an ******* coming home at 1am and leaving at 7am with loud exhaust. i already told them i was getting something quieter and they were very relieved haha. until then i come home before 10 lol. but after watching a bunch of youtube vids, it seems magnaflow is the way to go. ill see if i can find a cheap one on fleabay. my current exhaust is giving me a headache haha.

these bad boys showed up at work today

plus ive started talking to a friend about making a rear tire carrier that cooperates with the stock bumper cover but those plans are down the road aways. but now that the wheels are in, i have a little more motivation to put the lift in, tires should show up friday. and who knows, my little bro get his license next spring and he really wants to buy my jeep. gf is looking at getting a tj and ive started looking around at WJs. but we will cross that path when it comes to it haha.

not a huge deal but i put halogen bulbs back in my fogs so now im HID free. i will admit, however that the HIDs were great in the fogs. i just took them out because i dont like the look of headlights being different colors than fogs. another reason is i traded my HIDs for the welding my buddy did on my exhaust and in advance for putting on my new magnaflow

and found out that i work every day all next week. good for jeep money because thats 60 hours and i get overtime, even tho its probably all going to tuition, but i wont get anytime to lift the jeep. oh well, it will eventually go in. figured id just update anyways..next up is tackling some rust. even tho its not visible, i want to get to it before it is haha

these showed up today!

got them from zach (purplezj). i wasnt expecting them until next week..huge thanks goes out to him! very prompt and got exactly what i was looking for. good stuff

and my 31" KM2s are on back order and 3/4 of my stock tires are effed up and the 4th is my spare since one blew out haha. so i need some tires now. we have a set of 265/75/16 KM2s in the shop i might throw on my stock rims for now since i like the look, just wish my rims werent corroded. ill see what my boss says tomorrow and if i can get the 31s sooner, ill still run those on ravines.

might get the lift done monday but who knows depends on work. still debating on waiting for my 31x10.5s or getting the 265/75/16s we have in the shop. ill put the 265s on my stock wheels and maybe get some MB chaos wheels since i really do like those wheels.

but i want to start on tackling rust. anyone used color matching autozone paint before? it doesnt need to blend perfect since its under the rockers and no one will see it but still.

thanks
