Go to a jy and rip apart their header panel to get the bolts, then tap yours out and replace.

You mean grabbing the plastic adjusting gears out of the jy header panel? My adjustment is pretty decent right now, but I wanna do what one person did on here was drill holes behind the header panel and use regular bolts to connect and adjust the headlights.

So I'm looking into bed lining my zj I did a trial on my spare door with some under coating and some desert tan spray paint. Didn't turn out vary good. The paint peels off the under coating easy. I was looking at monstaliner. And the 2 gallon tintable kit and desert tan tint is 256$ before shipping. With out the tint in it is the liner black? Or would I have to get black liner. Is it worth te 250$+?

This is the scheme I'm going with

The non-tintable is just black. Somewhere on their thread it says the price is going up so try to buy it before then if you can.

Look through the Monstaliner pictures in the Jeep Photos forum, when done right the quality and look are hard to beat for that price.

As a side not, the black on top and tan on the bottom seems like a bad choice but to each his own.

Update: in the past few months the zj has taken a seat on the back burner while as I had lost interest in modding it. Due to recent advents and have just been enjoying life.

Though I have finally got off my lazy but and replaced the front d shaft u joints. First time ever doing u joints myself and it wasn't to bad. The reasoning for doing this was because my u joints clicked very loudly and were completely shot. Did I mention loud and annoying? :
But all is well now no chirps and I'm happy

Yesterday I had to tear the drive shaft apart and grease up everything well. It started to make the angry sparrow noise again. :brikwall:
But thankfully nothing was broken and its all better now!

Looks like a pretty good list
Why repainting it? Problem with the first paint job or color preference?

My first paint job could of been better I didn't realized it had to be recoated in 8 hrs, so I ended up doing it at midnight with a work light. but really just more color preference. The desert sand color is great but I live in New York where everything is woodsy/green not much desert here so I don't think it fits in as well as I would like it to with the environment. So I'm planning on going with the dark green called jungle love. As seen in this picture.

My new ac condenser was delivered today! Can't wait to have cold ac for summer will be installing this weekend. Also my ipf headlight bulbs will be here Monday. Relay got water inside of it causing the drivers side low beam to blow and eventually the passenger. Replace the relay an bulbs and should be good to go.

Replaced the pads and rotors today. Didn't realized how bad the rears were, so worn down they barely worked. While changing the brakes I discovered them at the passenger rear axle seal was leaking causing a ton of build up around the rim. :Brickwall:
After the brake change and driving the zj around the same side became hot and started to smoke due to the differential fluid leak. After a few hours of driving most of the fluid build up burned off and the rim cooled down to normal. Will eventually get the seal replaced.

Up next is either new adj. control arms or the kolak exhaust!
