Great looking ZJ man! I really like the looks of that winch mount, I think I may end up going with something similar now. Keep up the good work!

Sounds like you've got a pretty good plan.

Notch flares? Ive never heard of them. Want to fill me in on them? Ive been looking for a nice flare for the ZJs since Iceland stopped producing. And I personally dont like the looks of the bushcrackers.

Notch customs bought Iceland's flare molds when the went under. They have a vender account here and seem like a pretty nice group of people to work with.

I think it looks just right! Just imagine how much more cutting you'll have to do to run bigger tires.. not to mention spending a lot of quality time with a BFH

I already have to run these 33s on 3.5 in but I'm done going higher or bigger for a few year till I upgrade axles etc.

Yeah I hear you!

It's crazy how much massaging, bending, and pounding we have to do just to fit some rubber in there... Sorry I lost track, were we talking about ZJ's?

Thats the route I would probably go. Im a fan of LCOG jeeps, I refuse to go any higher with the actual lift on mine, ill cut and weld whatever is necessary to fit bigger tires without going higher.

On another note how does your ZJ run/ride with 33s? Any noticeable losses in power or fuel mileage?

Definitely feel a loss I both I will eventually regear to get everything back towards stock. Though not as bad as I thought it would be. I also love lcog jeeps myself 4.5 on mah be a tad high for lcog but this is high as it will ever go.

Good to know, thanks! I may step up to 33x10.50s but im not sure.I would really like 33x9.50s but I cant find anything in a 16" wheel. Ill make that choice when I decide to keep the Konig wheels or not. But yeah 4" is definitely high enough for me. I would rather make up additional clearance from trimming and a tummy tuck than go higher

Sorry for cluttering up your build thread, ill shut up now
