Yes, you can do this. Just cut the welds and around the brackets (possibly even just cut a hole in the unibody to remove the bracket), grind the extra material off to clean them up, and weld them onto the new Jeep

if i still had the plasma cutter still(and i can go get it anytime i want)it would take about 20 minutes to have all the brackets off and after a little grinder love they'd be reuseable...even the frame'd just have to get it back down here.....and yes i'm still cyber stalking you. figured there'd be a post to show the damage better the the pic you sent me

I bought another jeep last night. its got all the same goodies as my girl but a limited. it has a pretty bad engine knock so Ill be swapping the engines. Ill prob to the tranny too.

I was contemplating getting her fixed. 1900 just for labor then who knows how much more in parts....
I bought the new one for 1650.

my dad is haulin her down right now..

Swap pictures and walk through coming soon. Almost done. I really hope with what I contribute it will help someone because there isn't enough resources for this stuff. This was a PITA but I have learned (still am) A LOT
