it was one them fancy any angle nozel thing. you had to hold the trigger a certain way to get it to go good.

Yup, it has a matte finish. I like matte for the cladding, IMO it's easier to spray and touch up then a gloss finish. Also, I wasn't going for the Limited look, which is another reason I like the flat color.

My ZJ is black, so it matches the paint, but I think the flat black cladding is a nice contrast.

Comin' along nicely. And from an IL native's point of view, it's in great shape for it's age.

thanks! and,
hell yea it is haha.
Its loosing its clear coat... some the masking tape took some off too.... damnit... and theres spots of rust where its been nicked... and alot the inside bottom end of the cargo door is pretty rusted. small dents all over the place.
My grandparents bought it new in 92 in utah. and like 10 years ago they shipped it down here.

only problems with it right now is no ac, needs a new evap... and my front Diff is leakin out the seal whre the front ds goes into it.

interrior is really nice.

Great great great shape for the age, and how it sits in the florida sun alll day long.

Ha, yeah I know allllll about rust. I'll be sanding and undercoating mine come spring, once the IDOT finishes their salt frenzy. Luckily my clear coat is holding up, but then again, it's only half as old. Illinois winters are murder to factory paint.

yea. if mine didnt have so many nicks down to bare metal, and dents, id just wet sand it and clear it but it needs some sanding and rust killing, and bondo for the dents, and all so it needs a complete paintjob. thats all after i get the bigger lift. same with the tires. i dont wanna buy tires now and then need bigger ones later. unless i can get the 30s or 31s free.

Im thinking of a dark grey color... I saw a wrangler with it and i really liked the color.

so im gonna be doin a 6 inch total lift... sitll lookin for the job.

now.. this may not be what you guys think of a correct way of doing it, but correct me if im wrong, you want to keep everything parallel and straight when lifting correct?
well My bud, Oviedojeeper, Put drop brackets on all his control arms... he said he could sell some to me.
On his 5.9 he either has 6 ot 7 inchs of lift right now and all his control arms are straight like stock. no tilt to them or anything.
so i was planning on going with those.
6 inch shocks
iro front to back adjsutable track bars
Iro endlinks front and back
4 inch coils, i already have the spacers in which will give me 6.
and of course Brakelines.
i will also Box the stock control arms for strength.

later on in the future after i get that set up, Ill buy some proper stronger control arms...

any opinions on this?
