Do go to a Dr. just to make sure you are not going to get shafted for an injury later that the claim will be closed on.
What is peace of mind worth to you? It will cost less than an issue that comes later for certain.

It looks like he got hit by a Renault Kangoo panel van. That's a compact van (sub-mini-van). It's smaller than a Kia Optima. The closest analogue on our roads would be the Ford Transit Connect. But if he had been rear-ended at 150mph by a Lamborghini Diablo, the results could have been quite different!

But thanks for playing. Maybe you can open your eyes and look at actual accident data that shows the WJ has the LOWEST fatality rate in it's class instead of coming on here to stir up dissent and destroy the collective resale values of the entire forum.

That's unfortunate but glad to see the jeep protected the passenger(s). I agree - salvage what you can and start over!

Damn dude sorry for the loss.
This is kinda why I decided to get a rear bumper made out of steel first before anything. If I do get rear ended it will hurt them more then me.... next is the front bumper lol...
I don't trust other drivers.

Just silicone the gaps around the rear doors and keep driving it. j/k
Amazing how the lift gate, glass, tail lights and everything look unharmed. Shoot I dont even see the standard WJ dent by the lift gate handle!

I'd have expected a lot more damage other than a scratched bumper for the impact to have bent the unibody like it did.
