It really has come a long way! Just finished skimming through all 52 pages, really like the look of it. I'm hoping to start building my ZJ soon, but first I need to come up with the money and gain some experience in wrenching

OK so some of you know my fuel pump finally died. while I have the tank out I wanna cut a trap door in the floor so when it happens again it will be a simple swap without dropping the tank again. Does anyone have suggestions on how to make a trap door that will be water proof yet in screw fairly simple? My only problem is the floor is not flat it's corrugated or whatever you wanna call it

Just cut it, then find some sheet metal. I would cut some tabs out of the sheet metal that rest in a few spots around the perimiter of the cut you made, and silicone them in place making sure that they stick out into the hole. Then rest the cut peice of metal onto those tabs, and pull out a tube of silicone or gasket maker and seal the thing up. Silicone will make it water tight, and it is easy to cut with a knife if you ever need to remove it. I would just use silcone in a tube (from a hardware store) as it is cheaper than gasket maker.

No sense in cutting up the floor. It's fairly straightforward to drop the tank, especially since I doubt you have to deal with much in terms of rust.

Long overdue for an update I have moved out so I've been busy I installed a set of iro 4.5in springs and they are really like 5-6 in springs lol. I finally did my disk brake swap they made a huge difference and I didn't put in my new master cylinder yet. The only thing I couldn't hook up is my ABS sensors I don't have the bracket that holds them the drum set doesn't fit. O ya and I got those fancy set of bilstien billet resi clamps
