Well as some of you know my ZJ is not my DD anymore.. as soon as i swap in my 242 TC i was thinking of pulling the carpet and maybe add some herc.
What do you guys think or recommend? i use the jeep mostly in sand/dirt.

Eh, I personally like the carpeted look more. Especially with such a badass Jeep like yours.

I'd look into that Monstaliner stuff. Its got a nicer texture than Herculiner IMO. Plus it has UV stuff in it unlike Herculiner, so it wont fade. Look at LuckRider's Monstaliner write up. Its pretty good and he says it quieted the Jeep down quite a bit once it dried.
Not to mention they are having a sweet deal on it right now in the Vender section of the forum.

Can you herculine the floor, and then just put the carpet back over to reduce sound? If so then I might have to do that. I get a pretty loud drone, the exhaust shakes things up a little bit.

Well i got a quote from a guy and he said he would put in the carpet and upholster my seats (cloth) for around 350.
I think that is a pretty good deal, but i am still debating that carpet. i might just have to take it out and see how bad the sound is.. |

Personally, I would leave your carpet. I have herculined a few samurai's and trackers when i was into that scene. It is hard, very hard to clean dirt/mud out of cause it gets caught up in the texture. And it is loud hott. Just my .02
