Your wheeling environment I know so well. Hence the Snorkel brotha

and the with wet lands and sand that the Pines offers up, You will be replace parts like the U-joint , breaks, bearings, ect, ect, way more then most on here. Hope you like spending a lot of time on Jeep Up keep . that is why so many people I know stopped wheeling. they cant keep up with the work.
P.S. Go easy on those back tires, 242 = Burnouts
lol. I know all about the maintance. Ive owned 3 or 4 grands.
So when can I take you out to the Pine Lands and damage some of your jeep

Eh... It was a good thing. It made me get the 242 swap done faster.

That's good. I enjoy swapping my TC every day when I look down and see 2WD on my selector (well when I'm at home lol) and it wasn't hard. I was pretty new to things when I took on that adventure.

So sick of jeeps.. :/

Got my tires mounted and balanced today. Put the fronts on, took my rear control arms off..

called IRO to find out where the hell my LCA are that I ordered 3 days ago, with 2 day shipping... Turns out they didn't ship because they didn't have any powered coated, even though the girl told me 3 days ago they were in stock. So suppose ably they are shipping today, and should be here FRIDAY. I was suppose to leave for my vacation tonight, but I cant because I need my control arms...

Also looking at lockers and Gears.. if anyone has any input, please feel free to tell me what lockers you all like and why.
(Just because I know someone will ask, im 3.5 and going on 33's.)
(I have to regear because my front is 3.55 and my rear is 3.05)

Went for a test drive today with the new HP Dana 30 I got..

Front Driver side caliper was seized... and pass. side u joints were also seized.. Thats ok.. Wasnt too pissed, had the spare parts..

Went to put both calipers back on, to find out the GOD DAMN knuckles were stripped out. (would have been great info if the son of a... told me.)

So we rigged something together, then found out the bearings are shot. REALLY. MORE!!!..

So I drove it home... AND THE DRIVER SIDE WHEEL FALLS OFF AT 50 MPH.

AGH. So mad.

Im fine.. Looks like I lucked out. Wont know till tomorrow when I check it out.

From what I did see, looks like it will need a new rotor and.. yea thats all I could see that was messed up.

Still dont know what caused it. This axle is ****ing hell.

Just saw this on facebook. Holy crap that must have been a hell of a ride.

Did you buy this axle off someone else or grab it from a junkyard?
