so many thanks to all who have donated and to those with kind words to say.

i know it may be a long shot but we are hoping to meet the $5k goal by the 6th of july. We plan to donate whatever has been raised there to his mom during my families annual 4th of july party that tyler always made a point to attend no matter what he had going on.

Just got on from about 2 months off. Rat helped me out personally so many times. What a kind and generous guy.

My prayers to family and friends.

I haven't been on in a few months and was absolutely floored when I read about ratmonkey. I've never met him but learned very much from reading his posts over the years. We definitely lost a very knowledgeable person in the jeep community. I always hated opening threads where he had posted after me because I figured he corrected me on something. I'm glad to help out anyway I can, even it's just donating. RIP Rat

I've missed something controversial, but in any case, let me pay my late respects to Ratmonkey. We still miss you, buddy.

since something has happened and i am confused i'll update things slightly.

talked to rats mom, hopefully next spring this build thread will continue under new management... namely me. his rig does not need much to be driven, so hopefully by next 4th of july the white station wagon is back on the trails.

Was checking out the transmission section of this build thread .... decided to check out the finished product ..... hit last page and seen the news.
My condolences. I hope the rest of the build can be finished in his name. Props Mike.
