Yeah NW is the latte drinking, bluetooth using, Escalade driving, designer jean wearing epicenter of Portland. Don't get me wrong, Portland is a great city. It has everything a BIG city has without being a BIG city. I guess the hippie in me is a little bias these days. Just looking to simplify life for my kids.

BTW- Eugene is an awesome place to live!

So took Zoe to get Smog and Plates. Everything went off without a hitch. Got her home and decided the "Gold" really was working for me, so I started de-badging her.

The flash brings out the emblem shadows but they really can't be seen in natural light.

Everything was going excellent until I started working on the drivers door.

It seems that when the door was re-painted they never removed all the old emblem "nast" and painted right over it. Then to add to the retardation, they used some nasty glue to stick them back on. So now I have an issue. I think what I will do is order two sets of the door emblems in silver and just re-badge the doors. Then to make it all flow I will just re-stripe the truck in charcoal to cover up the tan pin striping.

After being frustrated with my de-badging failure. I decided to do something about the front plate. The OE plate mount is hideous, so I contoured the plate to mold to the bumper... much better!

Enjoy!

Pulled the TB off today and did a massive cleaning. The IAC was so nasty. Best $7 mod (Can of carb cleaner and a TB gasket) I have even done. The truck runs sooooooo much nicer!

Been forever since I updated this.

The secret to keeping your wife happy... take care of her car too! After over 3 years of driving the piss out of our Jeep ZJ, I finally got around to giving my ladies a little love. Stayed super late at the shop with the help of Sean and Dustin to knock this out.

Details-
Fat Bob 3" Lift
Fat Bob Shocks
33/12.50/15 BFG AT KO's
15x8 ET0 Ansen Sprints
Fresh set of Ventshades

I did pick up a transfer case drop but it turns out I dont need it. I am very pleased. Drives and rides really nice. Should make for a real nice "Mall Crawler".

Oh and did my wife like it? OH HELLS YEAH!!!
