Hey Iroc, how did you mount that surco roof rack up on your WJ?

It came with mounting brackets that clamp the factory rails. I'll try and get a pic of them tonight for you.

I just left the factory cross bars on. I removed them from my ZJ when I ran this same rack, but I just found that they can slide underneath the rack like they aren't even there.

Thanks but sorry, I don't know what backspacing they have. They came with the Jeep, and are an odd set. They are 16x9's, and I can't find them anywhere because they don't make them anymore, Ultra's.

lifted5.9 -

Here are the pics I snapped with my cell tonight:

I like the Surco racks. I even made a tire carrier for the one on my ZJ. The 32's weren't bad, but there is no way I want to move a 35 down and back up on the WJ, so I will look for another option.

I put the JK wheels on for a test fit today. Pics suck, it was night and the cell phone flash isn't that great.

I really like the look, but need some new tires. These Toyo's are getting pretty low on tread.

As you can see, the offset is terrible on these wheels. I love the look, but I am going to need some wheel spacers to run them.

Those look great on your rig and w/ those spacers, even better! Those aren't 35's, are they?

They are 295x70x17's, so about 33.5 inches. I need to find some 35 inch mt's for the rims.

Ah, si senior. You definitely have the classiest dub (no offense if you were going for something different! Haha) out of the dub club and those rims set it off even more! It'll look amazing w/ 35's and some more offset

The last two pics show how inboard the tires are...the offset is terrible. Spacers are needed for sure. I am so close on the rear, that I think it would rub the spring, shock, and especially the body if I were to articulate at all.

I love the look, but spacers will be required.

I siliconed a few gaps up between my flares and body, and looked around at everything I need to do. The fuel filter is on the short list of things to do...I will order a bunch of parts tomorrow.

I also sent a PM to a couple of guys that are parting out WJ's. I am missing my drivers side front bump stop, and the stealership wants $38 for one.

My drivers side fog light wasn't working, so I had to trace the wire and fix the break.

I pulled my K&N and cleaned it, it is drying right now and I will oil it and re-install it in the morning.

I pulled my old fixed endlinks off and installed my JKS Quicker Disconnects. It wasn't just a bolt in job though, both sides had tears/holes in the lower U where the endlinks mount to the front of the coil buckets. I spend time adding metal, straightening mounts, and welding.

Also, does anything look wrong in this pic? I didn't even notice this until now (installed by PO). The fixed end links didn't match up, one was straight and the other is bent. The bends are a factory bend...What's up with this garbage, terrible:

The joints were really getting annoying over the smallest of bumps on the road. This pic shows how much slack they have in them, I am glad they are gone. See how the one joint ball is twisted clear around? There was a ton of slack.

Welded, fixed, pins installed.

DONE:

You'll like the quicker disco's. Make sure your bumpstops are long enough!
