Well,
I repainted a section of the bumper this last Friday. If I had scratched it in Moab, it would have been cool. But because I scratched it on a property stake up at my inlaws cabin, it wasn't a "cool" scratch and my wife wanted it painted. So I sanded the damaged area, and fixed the problem.
Sanded:
Acid Etch primer:
I had some paint leftover from the original paint job, so a coat of white primer then the paint and the bumper is fixed.
I also needed to do some concrete work over the weekend, and needed to pull about 11000 lbs. That is beyond the jeeps capability by far, so I borrowed my bro's truck. It is fun to drive, but it dwarfs the Jeep when parked next to it:

Is Brad towing DV down to Moab in October? I'd like to see that tow rig in person!

I wish...I don't think he will be joining us this time. I think he is considering a 5.0 swap, he just put new Toyo's on it though.

I usually just eyeball it. The driveline is a hair under parallel to the pinion. It is pretty easy to adjust, no need to lift it off of the ground or unload the suspension. Just get it close, tighten the body side bolts, then slide the joint down into the diff mount, and keep adjusting until it looks right. With the upper body bolts in place, and the upper joint just floating, I would place a jack under the pinion and bring it up to the right level. Just adjust the joint in or out until you an slide it down into the mount and the bolt hole lines up. Slide the bolt in and remove the jack, and see how it looks. You may need to place the jack back in place and adjust in or out a bit more until you have it dialed in. Once the angle looks right, make sure to tighten the jam nut really tight.
My biggest tip: the instructions I received said to tighten the bolts holding the nylon, joint, and side plates to a ridiculously low number of inch lbs. Don't listen to this. 801DubJay and I both had a severe knock and slop in the rear suspension on our WJ's on Elephant Hill in Moab this June. When we got back into town, we crawled under and found that the joints were very loose. So loose, that I am surprised that I didn't loose the bolts/nuts that hold the joint together. I tightened it up very tight by hand, and re-greased it. The joint has been fine since, and operated perfectly.
It is kind of late, so the pics aren't great. Cell phone pics, but you get the idea.
My driveline has a single U-joint at the pinion, and a CV (2 U-joints) at the t-case.

No problem. Do you have a CV at your transfer case, or a single u-joint at both ends?

I have the 242 t case and it has single u-joints at both ends ..I've rear that I'm supposed to have my axle yoke and t-case yoke pararell to eachother ..but I can't adj. My a-arm enought to get my axle to be pararell..as of right now the joint is all the way it to the jam nut..if I remove the jam nut I can adj the axle more but then it won't be installed corrently and I would have a sloppy rear end from what I assume
