I am pretty sure the setup was money.

Weak link. I ended up going with the USA gear. Called randy's ring and pinion and that is what they recommended. I am going to be setting these up by the weekend. Of course the one week my truck is down it snows +8''.

The 35'' tires are all that the grand cherokee will ever see. So once i get a solid setup with ring and pinion in the d30 it will stay under there. I just can't justify putting 1 ton's or a 44 under the front of this thing with unibody.

anyhow I think project time is going to take over soon..... 4 door samurai on 42'' tires.... big boy project. The grand is going to be my consistant wheeler/daily driver while i build the samurai.

Thanks for the input.

I regret to post this,

I sold the Jeep.
I had a great offer from a local. Cash spoke and I got a lot more than I could have in the Midwest. It is staying within the whidbey4x4 club.

I am heart broken but it needed to happen to advance in life.

I will be building another truck.

Here are some pictures of the last hours with the jeep.

Nothing wrong with a good cash offer. Gives you an oppurtunity to start fresh and change around everything you didn't like. Looking forward to starting with a fresh one myself at some point in the (near?) future.

Glad to hear you got a good price, but it sucks to see the end of a legit build thread. You do some nice work, definitely one of my favorite ZJ's. Good luck on your next build, be sure to post a link whenever it starts.
