a good picture that my wife was working on. This had the 33'' tires and roof rack but it is similar looking just with bigger tires and no roof rack

Very nice jeep and a sweet build up. I drive an XJ but was emailed this link by my manager. Awesome fab skills and great wheeling pictures.

The guys i wheel with, have some big rigs. I keep up pretty easily but the unibody is the annoying thing lately.
Why is the unibody annoying you just out of curiosity?

Thanks man I appreciate it. I went to college in C.R. I'm from Marshalltown. I actually will be moving back to M'town beginning of next year.

The unibody is just not a frame. It seems to be tweaking more and more as i wheel it. Doors are starting not to line up really well like stock and the welding to the unibody is just a pain. I guess I'm happy with it but would prefer a frame for sure.

I am attending college here as well. But my home town is an half an hour south of Iowa city. Do you plan on joining any local groups when you get back like JOCCI or MIOBI?

I was a member of MIOBI from 2003 til 2007. I had a fully built samurai i ran down there. I am not familiar with any clubs as I have been military and moved to Colorado for awhile in there too.

How often do groups go out and what kind of events are they having? Hell even a link would do well.

thats a nice lookin front and rear bumper. im made my own and i wanna try making more to sell but my mounting system isn;t so sturdy, how did you mount your bumper ? cause on a grand cherokee its real hard to find a place under the truck to work from since its a unibody. nic work on those bumpers tho, i can appreciate all those hours bustin *** on somethin like that, this is the bumper i made for my truck. nothin special but it gets the job done

I felt the same way before I welded on a set of TNT stiffeners. The difference is honestly night and day to how solid it feels. Welding them on sucked, as did cleaning off all the undercoating, but it is by far the best mod I've done so far. Just my 2 cents.

i hate unibodies it just sucks to modify with em . i dont know what jeep was thinking with that set up haha. this is just my daily driver , so i dont need too heavy duty of a mount for the bumper i made, but im making more to sell and already had 5 people email me about it so i need something i can make to where it'll handle having a winch tow from it and not rip the bumper off. im thinking of going through the 2 openings that go through the part of the unibody that has the same shape as a frame but even that is thin metal. could you post pictures of your mounting systems for me to get some basic ideas from ? it would be a big help lol
