Exactly, I got a screaming deal on 35" MTR's w/ a Kevlar MTR spare. These tires just plain work. I really like them

Your truck makes it just look bad ***. Mine just looks like another trail rig w/ a bad *** bumper.

Updates coming very soon. I have to install a new 4.56 Ring and pinon up front.

New shoes look good bro. You will love those tires. Got a hell of a deal on a S35 kit so I am going that route until it breaks.

I would love to go get to GSW but it's just not gonna happen this year.(i deploy in 1 month).

I think 2012 will be the year for me to attend some larger events.

Sweet carnage, that picture is pretty much the only thing keeping me from 35's. If I had a 4.0 or the 30 was open I wouldn't think twice, but a locked 30 + a V8 + 35's seems like a recipe for disaster.

Sweet pic! I am running 33's with 4.56 gears as well. I have been on the fence about making the Jump to 35s'. I have 5.5" lift, Plus the bushwacker fender flair , that coupled with motor and gears I very well could go 35's . But I wheel pretty hard and I was worried about more trail carnage then my occasional front U-joint. So your busted ring gear is an image I will hold in my mind when it comes time for my decision. Your Jeep does look B.A. I see you appear to be wheeling with some others who may take this whole off road driving to the next level as well. Nice Job!

35'' tires are nice. I like them, they fit the look of the truck quite a bit better. These MTR's are just the bees knees. The carnage is pretty wicked, on my cooper 33'' tires I was breaking u joints in in 297 shafts like they were going out of style. So i changed up to the Chromo superior shafts. Naturally the next thing down the chain is the R&P. I believe that the R&P had alot of wear/tear before i bought it and i got a year's worth of use out of it.

Frankly, I'm going to change up the gears. Than i will continue to trail drive this thing.
The guys i wheel with, have some big rigs. I keep up pretty easily but the unibody is the annoying thing lately.

Just read the whole thread. It's nice to see someone wheeling a grand hard and fabbing some nice parts for it. When you build the LA's are you going the Claytons RA style, 3 link, or is there something else up your sleeve? Also, do you have any issues with the ARB compressor getting hot under the seat? I was going to mount mine there but I've heard they need a good amount of area around them to keep cool. Keep up the good work, I'll be following along. Also, thanks for your service and stay safe.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. This rig just amazes me more and more as i wheel it throughout the years.

For my Long arm suspension, I am going to run a traditional Radius Arm(RA) up front. Just because it is simple. I think i can get it to have none of the "jacking" characteristics that people say they can have by putting a center limiting strap in it. The xmember will remind you of a claytons and i will use 2'' 1/4'' wall square tubing.

For the rear I am going to run a 5 link so keep the rear track bar and run traditional 4 long links. non triangulated.

The compressor does get hot as i fill tires but i always pop my rear seat up and let it vent and keep it within the duty cycle and it works really well. I haven't worried about it yet.
