There are no tie ins to the frame, There are no actual cutouts to the rocker, fully factory strength, than welded at the seam on the underside and a the second bed under the door sill. Where they are mounted, the shape that they are they are more than strong enough. WAY stronger than any mount to the unibody "frame" with 4 bolts. I was actually breaking bolts on my sliders after a good days use. I have pictures somewhere.

What is on the backside of the bolts?
1 1/2 fender washers all around. There is no need to make a intricate mounting system for the rear, any impact these take the fender washers will be more than enought to keep the quarter protection where it needs to be. and especially with 27 bolts.

THanks for the compliments guys. Keep the questions coming

I'm curious to see how the sliders hold up. I've noticed how easy it is to dent the pinch seam on the bottom of the rocker and it seems like these rely on that as the backbone for the slider.

Thats what I figured, how hard was it to get to the nuts on the inside? I think I may be building a set of these in the near future. On another note, how is that winch working out for you? When I get a winch (possibly this winter) I think I will be going with the same one you have, haven't seen many reviews on it though.

Used them as hi-lift points and on some rocks today worked wonderful. I ended up butting the bottom of the slider right to the pinch seam than hammering over the seam and welding to the bottom of the slider. WAY stronger than any other design i have seen for the sliders. I need to get some pictures.

What a long day today, Went to the local stomping grounds, Walker Valley ORV.

I was gonna grab some pictures but my day was cut short by being called in to duty(military). Hopefully someone else will post them up for me on the club site.
The grand performed amazing on the trail.

On the way home going approx. 60 mph i heard some tics followed by clanks than a pretty good POP. Of course pulled over immediatly and found that my TJ shafts had the U joint cap on two sides loose and fall out. Fortunetly nothing is broken other than the Joint and I had a shaft to replace it all with.

Did a axle replacement in 17mins

Contemplating the next move of the zj. thinking of selling the 8.8 and d30 and going 1 ton's on 37'' tires.
But on the other hand i have invested a bit into this current setup. I would like to run 35''s but just don't know. It still needs to maintain DD status too. decisions decisions.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for all the useful help^^^ hahahaha

So I know in the short term i am going to replace the front u joints with 760x joints. They should be pretty strong especially with a few well placed Tack Welds around the joint cap.

Also It's a long shot but the RCV shafts just look like the cat's meow. just getting over that investment is pretty tough.
here is a great write up at mallcrawlin:
