Thanks Matt!!!

Okay guys, I got all the fluids changed, oil came out forever, I swear there was like 7 quarts of fluid in the 5 quart system.... I was light brown, and had no oil effect. Basically, water. Changed the tcase, and both diff fluids too. Also dropped the trans pan (oil should float, water should have sank to pan for the most part after 2 days). and changed the trans filter.

I gotta try and get my heim joints moving freely again, they are pretty stiff, I think the mucky water gummed them up.

Ready to start on the interior tomorrow though, start throwing the ideas out there!

I would like to put the carpet back in, I am not a huge fan of a 98 zj limited with herculined floors... Would like to keep it looking clean inside.

Please post pictures or any sort of ideas you have for me. Like, seatbelt bars for 5 point harnesses? Rollbars? Rollcage?.... Some sort of electrical system with plugins around the jeep? I will have the whole interior out, so plenty of room to run wires and stuff under the carpet.

Rollcage Rollcage Rollcage. Now is the time because you have to rip the carpet out anyways. Besides, you can build a cage first and then I'll copy it.

What bout hecylining the floor and cutting your carpet into sections so you can take it out easier. Just hide the seams under the seats, its what i did to my cargo area, works great, carpet just but up next to the panels.

and you didnt believe me when i said i had like 8 in my 6 quarts i would agree though it would be weird having a herculined floor with leather seats. so how did your sound system go? survive?

why not just herculine to protect it? Then power wash the carpet, and let it dry in the sun, lay some new matting down and throw it back in.

By the way man. Dont think I forgot about the money for the coils. I just havnt seen Grant since the last time I worked on his bumper.

Quick question for you though. I have a popping noise comeing from the front driver side when I turn or put it into 4wd. Do you think that could be the wheel bearing? I ask cause you had said you went throught two and wondered if it sounded simular. I know its not the u-joint but I'm praying its not a hub since I dont have a press

Surprisingly, after rinsing the amp, letting it dry for a few days, the seemingly screwed sound system (It would only make crackling noises the day of the sink). Now it works as of yesterday.

WFXFTRL:leterhsneck.... First off you do not need a press for the wheel bearing/hub assemblies on Jeeps. They are rather straight forward. How do you know its not the ujoint? PM Me about it.
