For ****s and giggles today I replaced the tensioner pulley too.... Nope.

UGH! Also pulled apart the idler pulley setup, wire wheeled, checked that special washer for perfect roundness with a micrometer, everything seems to be in spec. Its such an annoying sqeek. Every other pulley looks and feels fine.

New steering box installed!

5/8" Steering, all new heims, and bigger threads in the drag link for the IRO Double adjuster.

Well I evacuated the a/c system today in preparation for the intake gasket replacement. I will be doing that tonight when I get off work at 9, and hopefully finishing it before bed. Picked up some coolant, oil and filter, gasket set, and some RTV. Then, its off the Oklahoma at 6:30 AM for my cousins wedding. So... I want to get this finished tonight.

Next wheeling event is a week from tomorrow, probably the last of the year. Gilbert, MN. The Iron Range in Northern MN. Before then I hope I can lower it down to 7 inches, and get the front tire replaced. I work every day and have no time to go get the tires I found 3 hours away... Ugh.

where are they? If they are closer to me, or some one I know I'll pick them up for you. I'm planning on heading to IRO soon so I could bring them there for you

Jeep intake gasket is pretty much done, I took a few pictures. I lost one of the fuel injector orings so it got put on hold while I was in oklahoma for the weekend.

I will hopefully pick up a 37" on monday, to replace the Irok I have been running.

Jeep is running again.... My buddy was helping me the other night and overtightened the wire harness on the voltage regulator of the alternator, snapped the stud. Long story short I bought a new alternator, at least I upgraded to the 136 amp vs. 90 amp.

Then I got it running and found out it was leaking coolant, to my surprise it was not the intake gasket, but rather the hose that runs from the waterpump to the intake manifold (almost impossible to see). So I tore it down again, and tightened that up (same buddy did not tighten enough).....

Then I went on a test drive and wound up with 5 tickets.

-HID's illegal
-Tires stick out too much (about an inch)
-No front drop bumper
-License (physical, photo id one in my wallet) too dirty. weird that stuff gets dirty when you are a mechanic. huh.
-No mud flaps.

Regardless, I told the officer very kindly I would see him in court.

But on the bright side,

picked up 1/4 MTR's that I bought (I bought a set)

Well, The 37" mtr is mounted. So I am rolling on all 4 of the same tire again! Found out that my passenger rear 8.8 shaft is bent, and also my passenger front wheel bearing went bad again. Possibly from running the irok.

Either way, warrantying the bearing tomorrow.
