I have gotten a few PM's about how long arms work and why they benefit you, so I will sum up the ride quality portion of it now.

So the concept behind the long arms is that instead of having a 18" short arm that bolts into the same place as a factory arm, you now have a 36" arm. Well then you ask, how the heck do I get that in there? Wont my wheels be wayy too far forward? No, because at the same time you are mounting them way back on the t-case crossmember. Now how does this help? Because when a bump is absorbed from the road to your seat, the short arm is at such a great angle it basically has to move forward and pivot at a steep angle. With long arms, you reduce that angle back to near stock, and your ride quality is amazingly better at tall lift heights.
You can do the front LA upgrade for $599.

so what the 5.2 is not enough power for you. now you need the power of the 5.9. i cant wait to see the bumper get done. i have to admit since you started your build thread your jeep has become one of my favorites on this site. i can only hope my jeep will be as built as yours some day

What sounds cooler, three-eighteen, or three-sixty? Exactly haha.

And yes, I am very excited to get the bumper all done too, then I can stop stressing about it haha!

Thank you

very true three-sixty does sound cooler but four oh eight sounds even cooler. once you get the bumper built any chance you would send out the computer file for other jeepers to have bumpers built

Well last night I was listening to music in the Jeep for a few hours, and managed to drain my battery to below 9 volts. I jumpstarted it and got it running well but then when I went to work today I left the electric fan on for hours.... Which drained it again within 12 hours. I gave it a full charge and tested it, it tested as a bad battery. So I went out and bought an AutoZone Gold since the 2 year old Napa battery, with a 6 year warranty was not able to be replaced because "I did not keep my receipt", thats a bunch of B.S. So i went to Autozone. 3 year free replacement warranty, 8 year prorated warranty.

Haha, maybe if I drive the MN with the 5.9 engine in the back of my Jeep.

Or you come to California.

Seems totally possible. Hah.

Although I did not need the sideposts, I got a new battery with sideposts. That way I can clean up the wiring a bit and attatch my accessories to the side posts, and leave the top ones looking clean. It was actually cheaper to get side posts, win win situation! The jeep calls for a 34/600 which is series 34, 600 cca (cold cranking amps) This battery has 800 cca, 1000 cranking amps normal.
