lmao looks like someone forgot to put the steroids in the other tire haha. jeep is looking and sounding good as always
EDIT: also pat which muffler would you recommend to run with that exhaust setup for the 4.0
hahahah I would recommend either the velocity series muffler we include, or the flopro option. Both sound great, dont do a flowmaster 40 though. Too loud for a I6.

Drove the Jeep through the carwash today, its looking decently clean now. Still need to get the pressure washer out. I also need to start going through and retorquing everything, seems as though I have some clunking to fix

Well, I just did some recent work to the Jeep between last night and just now... Just got back in from the garage.

Last night I decided to convert my IRO HD Track bar, to a true double shear. What I had before was the HD track bar orig with tie rod end on it, and converted it to a double shear track bar with the M22 threaded end. I ran that for about a year, and now decided I would replace the track bar and all bushings. I dont like the way the Jeep rides on the highway, squirely.

Another problem I noticed, was slop was in the bottom bolt hole aswell. It was starting to oval out. So I wire wheeled it, welded a washer on it, ground it flush, and proceeded!

So I noticed my rotor had some scoring, and brakes seemed funny the last day or two. So I decided I would tare it apart tonight... check it out.

For now I just retorqued the nut, and I will see if it still drives alright, might need a new wheel bearing.

You were probably not too many miles away from losing that wheel.

Yeah I think you may need a new wheel bearing. That one is definitely a goner.

Re-torquing the axle nut isn't going to help you at all. You really really really need to put in a new unit bearing. I can't believe that thing would even drive down the road remotely straight! LOL When you put in a new one you will be blown away at how much better it drives.

retorqued it, and it looked and drove like absolutely nothing happened. No extra noise or anything, perfect. A day later I checked it again for safe measure, sure enough it came a little loose again.

Yesterday I was pulling into the parking lot and it started making HORRID noises. Hahah, then it stopped for a couple hours. Now, its horrible again. Jeep is parked until I get a new one! I think its still under warranty.

Well, you guessed it. Its under warranty. Decided to resurface the rotor too since it got grooves in it from the wheel bearing.

As far as the tire, I picked up a 36 x 13.50 r 15 super swamper for $50 from a buddy. So I mounted that on my blown tire rim, and will run that to buy time. Hopefully I figure out what to do before the next wheeling event!
