Thanks again, haha I like to stick to what people want to see and learn. In my previous build I went even more in depth, I guess I got kinda lazy.

Well, I ran a new "solenoid s+ control wire".... This way I can leave the compressor switch on, and turn it on and off from the drivers seat. Here is where I put it, hid all the wires

"Kegger Mod" Done to the Intake manifold. Intake runners cut and smoothed out. Supposed to provide better flow at higher RPMS.

Primer laid down

Silver applied..

Dried, and tape removed 14 hours later. Cleaned up all gasket surfaces again.

And now, what grant was talking about. The niner's fan has been lazy lately and cant seem to keep the Jeep cool. Long story short, last night it was a battle I lost with keeping it cool. It started to run hot ~230 degrees, so I hit the freeway to get air going. The jeep cooled down, went back to city driving. It started to run hot and steam again 10 minutes later, I hit the freeway, and the guage pegged all the way up. The Jeep never ended up cooling down and it died along the side of the freeway in the rain last night on my way home at 2 a.m. I had Grant (aircruiser) come rescue me off the freeway, we used his ZJ with a towrope and pulled it off to the nearest exit. Dropped the Jeep off in a neighborhood, and I got a hold of my buddy who is a wrecker truck driver.

3 a.m. hooking up the Jeep in the rain. I did not have access to a flatbed towtruck, so the 2 wheel style had to work. Put the trans in Neutral, and Tcase in neutral, Jeep would not move. Upon checking out my service manual, I had to put the trans in Park, and tcase in N.... worked flawlessly.

This picture was very cool. I stood back from the Jeep and was like oh man its dark and rainy, I doubt this flash will work for the picture.

Right as I took the picture, lightning went across the sky.... Lit up the scene. How bomb diggity is that home dog fo shizzle.

I pulled some plugs today and did some tests, diagnosed the headgaskets are bad. I cant say the timing was too bad, being I was going to tear half the motor apart this week anyway, I am going to have to do heads and gaskets now too... as well as fix the fan.

I think I will go with remanufactured heads, or just remanufacture mine. This would involve remilling the surface, and a valve job. Along with a visual inspection on the heads all around.

Hahahhaha thanks... I think its pretty damn cool too.

I took the advice and got some headers!

Y pipe all poopy rusty

Here is the intake mani that I modified, sandblasted, painted and swapped all of my parts over too. Also now has the Aluminum Plenum pan, so it wont leak anymore

The jeep is all ready to go back together, just waiting on the new heads to arrive. I ordered stock remanufactured heads. Meaning remachined, full 3 way valve job, new seals, yada yada yada. Decided not to do a new cam due to the price of a cam + springs + pushrods + tune... too much money for a college student right now.

Pat

I looked into having that Y-pipe media blasted while I was still deployed, but once I got back everything went to crap. Didn't know if that was option for you or not...
