Well, I've been modding this poor WJ for about two years. I've been asked where my build thread is quite a few times....so here it go's.
Let's start from the beginning, and little history.
Bought the Jeep as a replacement for another highly modded ride, a 1994 Ford Probe GT. Swapped the motor with a JDM one and did all kind of internal work. complete rebuild, forged everything, 12.5.1 compression, ferrea valves, chromoly valve retainers, R&D valve springs, port and polish on heads and intake, bigger throttle body, 6 pound flywheel, 6 puck clutch, headers, 3 in exhaust, yadda yadda yadda. was revving 9,000 rpm in this car and put down 380hp 391tq. with the final setup with 150 shot of nitrous. I miss it, but cant safely haul the youngin in it.
The Wj come along at a dealer auction and ended up buying it for $1,800. Came with a cracked windshield, slick tires, and a hole in the tranny bellhousing (which i found to be a 6" craftsman chisel that caught the teeth of the flywheel and broke a hole, was still in the bell housing rattling around.).
