Phoenix AZ to Vancouver BC

Tomorrow my father and I are setting out on a 3,000km road trip. We will be driving via Salt Lake City.

Huge week for our WJ. Kolak sent AC components, a new power steering pump and his exhaust components.

Beyond that, we now have all new shocks, 6 new lift struts, new front CV axles, oil, filter, AC recharged and a new battery. If you saw the other thread I had going, we also fixed a massive moon roof leak. The jeep is running beautifully.

I've done the coastal highway thru CA and OR and also done the more direct route thru Nevada and Idaho so this will be new for both of us. I hear great things about Salt Lake City.

I'll take lots of picture.

safe travels. love that area and if you have time I highly recommend heading east on 80 or 190/152 for some mountain scenery back country roads. have family in Park City and every time I visit I am amazed at what a great area it is

Been to Salt Lake City several time on business. I always make time to get out for a few hours and go up to the mountains just to enjoy the sights. Sounds like you all are going to have a great time, enjoy yourselves.

I think you'll enjoy the drive, especially once you get to the southern part of our state

If you happen to run in to any problems while you're passing through, don't hesitate to shoot me a PM.

That's a great looking WJ. Kudos on all the work you've done. I think it's pretty cool when someone worries about upkeep of their vehicle like this. It looks new. Have a great trip. I know that BC is beautiful this time of year, though they're kind of lacking in the snow category. At least a friend I have in Revelstoke has told me they've had a lot less than usual.

Stopped in Provo tonight so we could see Salt Lake City in the daylight.

21.4 mpg / 11.0 L/100km. Not too shabby.

Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

It was nice going through Oregon this time since last fall my wife and I drove through in the dark. Absolutely gorgeous.

Stopped off at DeLorean Motor Company in Bellevue, WA. My other passion is DeLoreans.
