Went cruising and junk yarding today. The Jeep sounds great...nice mellow tone, not annoying. The lift rides good, doesn't seem much rougher than stock. Turns out I replaced the wrong O2 sensor though! It threw the code again. I thought it was the "rear" one after the precat, but I realized there's two of those dumb things and 2 O2 sensors before them. So it seems it would be the rear of those 2. Anyway...time to get it dirty I think.

Also replaced my TPS and rear bank O2 sensor. Cleaned the throttle body and AIC. So far running way better. Smooth consistent idle, proper shifting, no converter weirdness.

Indeed I did... All this was only about $150. Oh, with hatch glass too! I did just realize that the donor probably has a Dana 44 though. O_o

No doubt... I wouldn't be surprised if it was already gone though.

Pick n Pull... But this is the first WJ I've seen recently. 4 yards in the area, and only one and by now its been thoroughly molested...

I find going on a regular basis as well as getting to know someone who works there definitely helps. Get typically better prices than most. Have a few to I go to here, but two typically have WJ's there. One has about 10 right now, but yes, they get pretty picked over.

Put in an OEM hatch glass today...wouldn't ya know...it fits exactly the way it should, and closes very firmly. That aftermarket piece of junk didn't even touch the gasket on the sides. Also put in my trailer harness. Plugged right in to the factory harness, and even works. That made me happy.
