Thing I've always thought about the OWL facing out is they give a bit more definition to the way the wheels look on a vehicle. Doesn't take long for them to look less white though if you get down and dirty with them.

I do like the look for the most part, but sometimes it looks off. It does give a defining line to all the black though.

Exactly. One they lose the 'brightness' they won't be as in your face. What rims are those? I do like them. For now I've got a set of the jeep 5spoke 17" chrome, of course chrome has seen better days. Looking at plasti-dipping in the spring for now until I have $ for new rims. Still looking for what I want.

Had a set of nomad's on the ZJ which looked really nice. Don't think they wouuld have looked as good on the WJ though. I know what ya mean spending the money, but if you can get a good deal on a set, makes it a lot easier to dive in. As well stock rims are good for winter tires. When I had my camry had a really nice set of motegi rims. Once winter was here I'd put on the stock ones with winter tires.

That's smart also the salt won't eat at the rims then salt would kill that chrome

Haha, ya I don't plan on thrashing it for a good long time. Nor do I plan on running over trees and tearing up meadows if that's what you mean!

I know that all too well. I beat on my old MJ, and needed to use something else a few times..

In with the new! Since the track bar was from CL I wasn't 100% sure how it was supposed to go in... But I used my superior reasoning skills and figured it out (then double checked the forum). And I'm fairly certain a gorilla installed the axle end of the stabilizer...eesh.

Got the rear suspension done last night, but ran in to issues installing the exhaust. Messed with it for a while, and decided it just wasn't going to work. Contacted Kolak, turns out Kolak's vendor sent me the wrong muffler. Had to source a new one locally, and luckily Kolak will refund me. On top of that, the rear hanger was turned the wrong way. Tweaked it (and my back), and now it works as it should. Haven't driven it yet, but everything seems to be kosher!
