You could start a build thread if you're planning a lift or any big projects

Continued Pictures are pretty self explanatory... any questions please ask... Assembly is just reverse of this...

Oh you don't need bull-nose pliers.. just take two pair of pliers and twist to clear steel frame wire.. then use same to close them up.

Be sure to pull seat cover far enough on sides when putting back together this will make attaching the clips and rails easier.

Yes, I shampooed where seat was... TIS ALL CLEAN....Shot little paint on just to keep rust off and add to the Jeep Glamor

Went for a drive today... ended up being short one...

Engine not running all the great... did the 3t key turn found few codes... off to the store I go... Ignition Coil pack... and something to stop the puddling under the truck that just started.... yeah a water pump....

so new coils, new water pump... need to get new hoses all the way around next... then I will put coolant in the engine once I know I am not going to have to tear it down anytime soon.

WJ is running so much better now... EMG is reading back in the 14s and 15s again... was stuck on 9s and 10s... lot more pep in WJ peddle also.... Disconnected battery for 15min and took for another drive... checked for codes... "done".... saweet

NEXT!

Got a box of goodies today... BALL JOINTS... all of them... guess a detailed replacement is in order?

new thread or stick with this one? I will be doing these either tomorrow or this weekend.

I have to get truck ready for 2000 mile road trip from Otown to Texas... and I don't want any "Houston, I think we have a problem"... Still have wheel bearings and axle seals left... I have been thinking about new injectors also.

i say keep it all in one thread, that's what a 'build thread' is for right? unless you make a specific writeup on how to do something then you can do both..

I replaced lifters but still have a ticking noise.. comes and goes most when cold so going to put some Restore 6 cylinder in and see if that quiets it down.. if so I will be replacing mains and rod bearings... if it doesnt I already sent email out to National Cylinder Head for a rebuild of the I6... May is closing in... have to get WJ road worthy and trust worthy for a 2000 mile road trip.

Ok starting with injectors... first are old Jeep injectors... then shot of the FORD injectors installed with factory clips in rail...nice can of Restore to see if it quiets dieseling down... which it did.

Next we have the seat memory, not quit done with that but in progress.

Then we have the PAIN in the ARSE ball joints... top, bottom, down bar, cross bar... King ball joints were a pain... kit I rented from Advance didnt have right sizes for stock.. they were larger then new ones.
