New member,new jeep/build thread

For starters I owned a Comanche about 4 years back. Here's what she looked like from start to finish lol

Now I just had my 1998 Audi a4 blow up on me. so I took that money from the scrap yard and got a transmission flush and oil change on my wife's 1995 Volkswagen Cabrio to prep for a 200 mile trip . when we got there we had to limp because I'm pretty sure a bearing is about to let go . so at this point I was on Craigslist in about 400 ads later I found this

http://albany.craigslist.org/cto/5357378551.html

I have fallen completely in love with it. when I got there I thought it was going to be a pile of crap but it actually wasn't bad. it has high miles but has proven it's worthy. The only issue I've had was the idler pulley ejection at 75mph and loosing the belt to bury her at 280 and the common slip upon sharp left turns. Got towed 26 miles to advanced. She's good to go. Made it home and have gone 2+ hours away since. Brand new tires in back 65% in front. Remote start!! Cruise control!!
So far I have spent
Jeep 470
Tow 210
Idler Pulley/belt 30
Alignment 80
Inspection/FUBAR fend patch 40

Future plans
Pads/rotors all around (slight pulse)
Shocks all around (touch bouncy)
2' lift
Rockers (ga. 10 steel)
Brand new Fenders
Hatch wiper (frozen solid)
Toy hitch recall (never fulfilled)
Drivers side hatch latch (doesn't latch)
Tranny flush left turn)
Valve cover/gasket (broke oil cap inside)
Key fob/program
Pass F window regulator (drive cable broke)
Drivers R widow switch
Install my stereo
Overhead display (is dead atm)
Brake booster (squeal on hard press)(brakes normal)
All new front control arm kit ( I replace everything at once not just one part)

Tax time I'll be doing most likely everything on the list. And I'll be doing 98% of the work myself.

My thread will be scattered but detailed. I'll upload lots of pics!

Also I've read every post that untested me all the way back to 2012, I like to be prepared and informed!

Thanks, and thanks ha-ha, my apologies

Would love any help with the overhead display though!
