I want to see a picture with the wheel spacers on. Are you still on the 2" BB?

I just saw this. I'll get some more pics in the daylight tomorrow. Sorry for the delayed response.

I took some pictures this evening after cleaning up my head lights again. I'm going to need to get some new ones I guess.

thanks weeder!

I just ordered her a new radiator from Radiator barn. By the end of the week I should have the new radiator and Double Cardan drive shaft put in! Then I can get back to some trails.

SO, I got a radiator from radiatorbarn.com, as everyone I've seen on here gave them good reviews, but I have some complaints.....

The radiator itself is almost 2" shorter than the one i pulled out (assuming it's original).

There are 5 LESS water channels on the replacement one.

After installing, when filling and bleeding the system, a piece of styrofoam floated up

They'll be getting a call Monday morning

Here are a couple pictures.... the old radiator did not have the 1" tall metal bar at the top (which makes up 1" of the 2" this one's short) Please note, the upper radiator hose is smashed into the air intake pipe !

I need to get more pictures, but there's a 1/4" gap along the sides and bottom of the radiator as well.

It was $110 shipped. Guess this is what I get for trying to save a buck.

here's the best picture I could get of the shroud not butting up against the radiator like it did with the old one:

FINALLY changed out my Rzeppa junk drive shaft with a factory Double Cardan to U-joint. I hope I didn't totally jack up my pinion/crush sleeve as I did it the shade-tree mechanic way. We'll see.

Now that I've got the right drive shaft, LET THE LIFTING BEGIN!

Whatever became of your new radiator?

Yes, it snows in Texas.

Radiator Barn's reply to my email was only to "return it for a refund" Out of the question, as I didn't have the extra funds to go grab a $200 parts store one, and didn't really want to spend another entire Saturday replacing it. AGAIN.

So what I did was look for something to fill the gap. I was looking for a taller piece of metal to bolt to the metal bracket on top of the radiator, when I stumbled across a device used to seal up the bottom of a storm door. It's aluminum, already had bolt holes in it, and has a rubber piece on it as well. I measured, then cut it to the same length as the radiator, and you'd think it was meant to be there. It filled the upper gap perfectly. I still haven't found anything for the sides, but I'm still looking. My temps have come down a bit, but I still don't like it sitting 1/2 a needle's width above 210. I haven't been able to put it in a position where it would climb like the old busted one would allow.

Here are some pics of the storm door seal:

And the gap that remains on the sides:

I did take a couple inches off my upper radiator hose, which made it a little straighter, pulling it up off the intake tube, but it's still a little rediculous.

My temps were creeping up after shutting it off, but a new radiator cap resolved that. (I'm still not sure why a new cap wasn't included with the radiator--maybe it would've kept the styrofoam chunks out of it that floated up to the neck while I was filling it)
