So... a Jeep update... mu trackbar is making noise. .. I fixed the upper mount because it was ovaled out... now I think the lower mount has done the same or was ovaled before and didn't notice because the top one was so bad... that's today's project. Also... my factory roof rail on the rear is drooping... I think its from the weight of my jack

I think if I run a self tapping screw through it it will pull it back into place... I just need it to survive the winter and then when summer comes I can hit up a bone yard. And last but not least.. the bone yard is hunting up a new seat bracket for me... no more ghetto laxin

It's a Jeep, it's not supposed to work right all the time.

Wow I'm back.... not sure for how long LOL. So I hit a Honda civic with my Jeep Saturday night. He hit a patch of ice and spun out in front of me. I totalled out his car. I hit him with my driver side tire and slid up on his Hood with my sliders. To say the least. His car was messed up bad... my Jeep suffered from a dent in the front fender smaller than a baseball, a broken center cap, and bent tie rod (or so tires plus says) I took it in for an alignment I think they are handing me a line... I'm gonna have my buddy put it on his alignment machine and take a peak. Either way, no cops were involved because dude didn't have a license and in wi, I would have gotten the ticket for hitting him even tho it was no fault of mine. Insurance isn't going to be notified either... so what could have been $1000 easy with my ticket and deductable, turns into a couple hundred... even tho this blows, I guess I lucked out. Pics will be posted soon. But I don't have any of the civic due to him wanting to get out of there and I wasn't gonna argue. Yes his car was drivable, but with nearly every body pannel creased in, both bumpers torn off, a dented Hood, and broken windshield... it was totaled...

I can't believe you would've got the ticket! Usually it's the person who lost control of their vehicle that takes the blame all else being equal. Very odd... Similar thing happened to my wife a few years back and the guy who spun out was held responsible.

I'm just glad you're okay and the Honda guy wasn't hurt. If he had no license, he probably had no valid insurance, or whoever owned the car wouldn't have insurance that would cover him. It sounds fishy to me. People need to get tossed in jail for pulling stunts like that. It's too bad your state is so backward that you'd have been punished.
