Just wanted to thank you and apollo 21,I was planning on waiting til first of year to buy my WJ but kept reading you guys posts and couldnt take it any more so i pulled the trigger and bought an 03 WJ today,and now the build is about to start,feels so good to be a jeep owner again (it's hard to explain it to non jeepers).Just wondering are your tires the 32/11.50 tires or the metric version,I wanna run 32in on my jeep

they are 245/75/17..... goodyear says they are 31.5"
alot of guys run a 265/75/17 and those come in at 31.7" so no noticeable difference, i went a hair thinner because of snow... however i plan on getting a "summer" set of wheels and tires in the 265 size, and using my current set up as my winter/trail set

Mud the 265/75/17 are a 32.6. are you thinking about a 265/70/17 which is a 31.6
The size also depends on manufacturer, mine SHOULD be 31.6 as they are a 265/70/17 but they measure 32.25.

yes sure, that was a typo... my bad...
past few days, i've been arguing with the KJ folks on whether the 4.0 is better than the 3.7. I own a KJ, so i feel i am allowed to stir the water over there as i do here....
i'm starting to get the feel that MOST, NOT ALL the kj folk are "wanna jeepers" and this forum makes them feel better about having a craptastic motor and IFS

sculls on the side walls, duh....
but really, thats part of it..... they won't see any use offroad, my jeep is a large chunk of my advertising for my company (means i write off every mod hehe) and since my current rims are kinda icky, i want a new set, and new tires, that way i can run my current set up on the trails, and during the winter months
