IRO 3in sway links (MUCH better flex without disco)
Went to sears to replace the adapter I shattered trying to do the steering stabilizer and finally finished the job! I havent really tested the new one but Im sure it will be better then the factory 103k mile one it replaced.
Dana 30 OEM cover (new) panited Hemi Orange
Airraid Jr kit. Removed the restrictor errr resonator for much needed throttle response.
More goodies to come as kolak and summitracing gets them here. Waiting on OME HD 3in springs, bilstien shocks, addco rear sway, crager soft 8s 5x5 4in bs 16x7, JKS adjustable track bar and all 8 ISOs.
Why I very much HATE plastic water pump wheels....This was a water pump, thermostat/drilling timing cover for new t-stat bolt, hydraulic fan, all new powersteering lines and power steering pump. Lets just say right off the bat my WJ and I got REAL intimate.
Thanks yall! The airaid jr kit works with the HO as the throttle body placement on the HO is the same as the standard V8. I got it on ebay for $150 to my door and well worth it. I actually might be selling it if I like the FIPK setup Im getting soon. Not 100% though.
Speakers came in! Didnt do the dash speakers but installed the rear and front and man what a difference in clarity and over all quality 2ohm speakers can make to a factory system. Also removed the factory cd changed to use the space for storage since it wasnt hooked up anyways.
I just installed my blown factory tweeters last night with the 3023cf they sound much better! Very clear! I hope to get the others you purchased soon. :highfive:
Well getting some time away from the baby at the expense of my wife, but few more pictures/progress on the WJ.
New intake system! The airaid was great and all but the the airbox wasnt bolted down (due to the last tech sheering bolts and/or losing them) so I rigged it for a ram air. Plus the way it was bolted down made it rub and squeak, but hey if you have a properly installed airbox I recomend the airaid over all (including my K and N but I couldnt pass it up for the price + circumstance!).
K and N FIPK with ram air
71mm Fastman throttle body!
Kolak 3in ehxaust (flowmaster SUV 50, Magnaflow 3in cat)
Addco rear sway (tried my best to get a pic) with greaseable bushings
Old but hey still a nice mod! Proclipusa mount.
Missing the best part of this mod, but here is the base...the very foundation that holds the best mod I ever did to any jeep EVER!
I bought this: P.I.E. Aux adapter and plugged it into the CD changer spot on my factory radio. As along as you have a CD changer I believe it will work and only takes 5 minutes to install.
Finally got bilsteins last week and all it took was a couple of hours and a case of beer and ...
Im in love all over again! Only need to trim a bit more (also thinking about a ZJ washer bottle) and re-torque in a few days. This is how the jeep should have come from the factory. Next is installing the painted diff covers and start setting up for linex on the roof.
Thanks! Its what happens when you inherit a jeep and then sell your other jeep with a clause with your wife that some money goes towards goodies. :cheers2:
Oh and Im quite jealous of that niner! The first jeep I ever drove or wheeled was a niner back in 1998!
Looks real good, we have almost the same set up IRO 3" lift and 31s I had the rancho SS but I mangled it beyond recognition testing out the lift haha no worries though Kolak has a MOOG trail boss one on its way right now.
How do you like the bilsteins on the road? I have ranchos and I think they're way too soft I bounce all over the place. Thinking about upgrading
Yeah no trails yet but Ill get so very light pastures and camping trips this year Im hoping. I mean hay is VERY ready to cut so Im sure that Ill see something.
As for the billys well it rides amazing! I loved my old KJ with OME sprins and shocks, but I think Im more happy with the bilsteins then the OME shocks. Cant say anything abotu ranchos other then I had a buddy who had a set on his old ranger he loved.

Finally got off my butt and started to bedline. Only did the front grill but more to follow VERY soon (wife and child willing)...
Also replaced IAC and all 4 O2s(what a PITA!!!!!) and got my random low idle fixed. Purring like a kitten now I just need a PML transmission pan, flush, filters, fluid and temp gauge and I should be golden for a long while.
Well half my goodies came in! Autometer transmission temp gauge, now just waiting on the PML transmission pan and a trip to the dealer for filters and fluids.
I did too, but talked to the people there and looked under my WJ and there is nothing in the way to warrant that pan. I will know 100% this weekend (weather permitting) as my WIX filter kit comes in tomorrow and Im buying the fluid payday/friday.
Got the last set of fluid for my HUGE service weekend (weather and time permitting). Also got more bedliner and sandpaper and half installed my trans temp gauge in preparation for the weekend. On the table is:
10 x ATF+4
WIX filter kit (will be using RTV though)
7 x Valvoline high mileage
Purolator PureONE 30001
3 x Duplicolor bedarmor
180 grit sandpaper
PML trans pan
Autometer digital trans temp gauge
Hey did those infinity speakers go right in their places without any brackets. Or did you need brackets and modifications to make them fit
