hahaha i really would help but tommorow my day off to work on my jeep. are you going to put that stuff in yourself?
haha...yeah. ive got a few wrenches in the back of the jeep that keep me going. ill swap it all out in the parking lot one morning. it shouldn't be that hard i dont think. or at least im hoping it will go smoothly. every since i put on WJ upper arms and the RE trac bar im getting a popping noise up front. but i think the IRO hd trac stuff will stop that and i know the lower bushings on my lcas are bad so hoping that will get rid of the hobble ive developed at 50 mph...u ever get rid of you DW?
nah i still get dw when i hit bumps. my exhaust is pushing on my rear trackbar so im getting a turndown after the muffler today and then im taking it back to the alignment shop to see if the alignment fell out of wack if not im pretty sure its my tie rod ends theyre pretty narsty and if its not that its gotta be my control arms whoch i hope its not
found out alot and did some minor things to the jeep today. my exhaust was rubbing on my rear trackbar and sway bar so i went to a muffler shop and had them cut off the exhaust after my flowmaster and put in a turndown pipe. it made it grumble a little more. i also went to get my alignment checked out and it was off again so new list of priority parts are upper universal ball joints and my front upper control arms are being stretched and the bushings are shot. i already knew i need tie rod ends (mine as well get iro tie rod) my drag link is ok for now but it wouldnt hurt, and my pitman arm looked pretty bad so hopefully after all this i should be straight for a while now i just gotta figure out how to pay for it all...
heres what ive done to my car today ill post pics soon and a vid, i had a cotter pin missing from my left lower ball joint i think? so i put one of those in, also a tube on my intake cracked so i went to the sto and got some tubeing cut and some antifreeze yeah and my cut off exhaust yeah
update on the jeep i dont know how to add captions on the pictures so in order of appearance we got my high and then low beam hids i was parked kinda sideways but i do need to adjust them also, my full antifreeze, hose thing, pitman arm

first picture is a close up of the tie rod end and the right front ball joint, second picture is where the tie rod goes into the draglink, third picture is of my left side ball joint. forgot to get pics of the control arms but trust me their toast
u got the foundation series lift?....for some reason i thought you got the step up. ive got some stock lower control arms with practically brand new poly bushings in them...they've prob got 1500 miles on them. the best way to tell if your tie rods are toast is to get some body to rock the freeplay in you steering wheel back and forth while you lay in front of them and inspect them. u should do the wj knuckle swap instead of upgrading your zj steering. im collecting parts for the swap as we speak.
no i got the kit with double shear tb and i got a rear tb and new steering stabilizer. its my upper arms that are out, one is kind of leaning inwards and the other kind of outwards. ive notcied a little popping noise also which im 100% sure are those damn arms. never heard of a wj knuckle swap i may have to look into this but i was on the way back from kennesaw this morning and i got death wobble on 575 which is a major highway and damn near shat my pants. death wobble at 70 mph is not fun

hmmm....did you pull your lower arms and check the bushings when you installed the lift? my bushings were shot to hell and back. but when i pulled the uppers a couple of weeks ago to install my wj uppers the bushings were in perfect shape. DW at 70 is deadly for sure dude. do you have free play in the steering box?
i have a little free play in the steering box my lower bushing were bad too but not as bad as the uppers. that wj knuckle swap looks like too much work lol. redrock i would definately save some cash on the side because any little problem you may have now is really gonna show when u put on ur lift. id get all your **** fixed before you put on the lift dont get too hasty its hard to look at those parts not on the jeep but youll be glad you waited trust me
so this shop is trying to charge me 750 parts labor and tax out the door for two front adjustable upper ball joints... what would you guys say a job like this would cost, at a shop not your backyard lol
why do you need adjustable upper ball joints? if you camber is bad you just need normal replacements most likely...you typically dont have to adjust camber in straight axle apps. its usually the IFS that requires adj. camber bushings. why do they think you need adj joints? you can pick up a whole set of 4 stock ball joints off ebay for 40$ moog brand. and ball joints aren't hard to install at all.
