How much was that wrap? What web site did you get it from? I am really interested in doing something like this

Is where I found the material. Since then I found it most likely came out of China and had one of my work importers look into it. Found it and now I'm going to start selling it as soon as I get done with my Jeep. Mainly because I had to buy 100ft of it and will probably only need 40!

And after some minor body work, primer and spray paint I was able to start and finish one more panel!

So after a day in the garage, got the hood redone and in the end it was for nothing. Oh well, got the other front fender wrapped. Also, as the picture shows got the rear quarter and rocker on the right side done. Tomorrow's plan is to duplicate this on the left. Then if time allows I'm going to try to tackle the rear lift gate.

Eventually I'm going to have to pull a door panels off and figure out how to getting the door handles off so I can wrap the doors.

Gonna have to take the interior panels off the doors an lift hatch, then you can take the handles and key cylinders off

Pulling the door panels, easy. Did it when I swapped the speakers to Infinity Kappas (3 ways in the front, 2 ways in the rear). Figuring out the linkage pieces from there.....that's the tricky part!

Awesome, but I think I've deleted the pics.

From what their pics showed in the instructions the hole's in the body where they just show angle cuts has to be opened up much further. I cut the opening all the way from seal to seam vertically and then all the way to the opposite side so the hole is roughly 2 inches wide and about 4 inches tall roughly.

On the brackets, I welded the bolts to the brackets that slider into the hole you cut. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to get any tools in to tighten them. The bolts stick from the inside of the bracket, through the body and you can nut them inside the fender well. Then the other bracket that they show being bolted to the frame bracket, I welded together.

Then just be careful when welding the bolts to plates inside the bumper itself. Tack them in place and test fit. This ensures that you get the thing to sit properly. If I can find the pics I will post em up here.

Got this far on the ZJ camo earlier today. Still two more doors and the rear hatch to do. I'm digging it.

Looks can be deceiving but thank you! I'm a little OCD when it comes to building vehicles. It ain't perfect but it will do for an off road toy...

I typically hate camo trucks 'cause I think they always turn out so redneck, but man that desert camo looks goooooooooooooood!
