Well, a few weeks later and all I have achieved is power washing the engine compartment and under carriage. In the meantime I'm in the midst of replacing my water pump due to the upper radiator hose piping off not once but twice.

The second time I was in midst of a long drive so I had to do a road repair. The steam built up on the drive blew the weep hole. Oh well, at least I get the parts cheap.

Got some replacement seals for the new 242 tranfer case and tranny output seal. Maybe this coming weekend I can actually get it swapped. Also need to put some coil spacers in the front. The winch and new bumper have put a hurtin on the RE front springs. Got some Prothane spacers ready to put in.

Still need to mount the LEDs as well. Then there is the camo vinyl wrap still to order. Need to build a roof rack and rocker sliders still... I'd like to get a rear bumper made as well. Something with a spare tire and Jerry can holder as well. All it takes is time and money!

Just got done replacing my water pump and thermostat. Put a GMB pump in her. It had a 195 degree thermo in it. No wonder she ran so warm! Got a 180 in there now. Idling with the AC on full she wouldn't get over 205. That's better!

Also replaced all the big radiator hose clamps with band clamps. Ought to eliminate popping hoses. The long weekend should allow me to swap the transfer case and put the coil spacers in.

And since y stock steering sampler is leaking today I ordered a Rubicon Express steering dampner and some RE extended brake lines so I can disconnect. Just in case I didn't have enough to do.

If I'm lucky I'll be able to head to my buddies shop and plasma cut some hole's in my bumper to mount my Rigid LED lights as well!

Just got done with the Jeep for the day. Swapped the transfer case out. Installed The new steering dampner. Put the coil spacers in to get her sitting level. Tried to install the RE extended brake lines but no joy. The block at the caliper is incorrect. So I pulled the stock mounting bolt, straightened the steel lines and remounted the factory block. No need for extended lines now!

Ok, after some re-sizing to fit the new forum format or something...

After swapping the transfer case I swapped the plugs to update the VIC.... note only the two rear wheels lit up.

Installed the new Rubicon Express steering stabilizer. No more issues with death wobble. I had a small issue on a bumpy and curvy road that would cause the wobble. Not any more!

Installed new Prothane coil spacers to level out the lift. The JCR bumper and winch put a hurting on the RE 3.5" lift springs. Also relocated the stock brake lines after finding out the RE extended brake lines DO NOT fit my ZJ. I have to call RE on Monday with some other issues. I'll have to mention this to them as well.

Lastly a view from her good side sitting level again.

Finally got over to my buddies shop. A few minutes with the plasma cutter and some clean up with a burr bit and the Rigid SR-Qs are on. Damn they look good. Optics are pretty damn good too. Just not sure I can justify spending any more money on LEDs when HIDs are 25% of the cost.

Nothing major happened with the Jeep this weekend. Got it in the dirt finally. Went to a friends outdoor range and had some fun in the way there and back. Nothing technical, just some fun back roads and some tighter spots.

Also got my 32 tooth speedometer gear in so my speedo reads correctly now. Always nice not have to think about speeding past a cop....

Desert Camo wrap has arrived! (well I tried to upload a picture but it keeps failing, oh well)

This weekend's projects:
Swap front CV axles (I have a torn boot on the passenger side and the driver side is clicking)
Change front and rear brake rotors and pads
If time and schedule allow, start on the wrap. Gonna do the hood and grill first and work around from there.

Got some body work to do to the front right fender and the body molding metal posts need to be cut down and smoothed out along the sides. Too much to tackle for this weekend.
