When I did my 3.5 in lift on my zj I didn't need a spring compressor. Although they did need compressed and I used a couple of carefully placed pry bars with no issue. But those springs look alot longer than my 3.5in iro springs.

I used ratchet straps to remove/install my springs. Worked pretty well, until one let go and shot about 8 feet into the air

OK, pics finally added.

Picture 1 shows that the mono-tube Bilsteins included with the Rubicon Express 3.5" Soft Ride kit will now be the new bumpstops. They bottom out before the bumps hit the axle.

Picture 2 will dispute the statement where I thought I could disconnect the swaybar with out extended lines. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. Need new brake lines before I can disconnect.

Picture 3 is the front with my spare mounted,

Picture 4 is of course the rear with the same

Picture 5 is lifted on stock wheels and tires. Gotta wait til next paycheck before I can take my new tires home from work

Picture 6 is stock for comparison. Without the springs settling the lift is right about 4.5". Once I get the JCR bumper on and the winch I have a feeling the front will need some boosters to level her out. We will cross that bridge another day. After test driving her, the front does have some "death wobble". A quick adjustment on the caster adjustment helped. She still shook on the 2nd drive but not my third (with the wife and kids along) so that was nice! I'll have the alignment done after the new wheels, tires, bumper and winch are on.

Sorry for the different sized pics.... I don't know how the pics, all from the same phone come through in different sizes!

On a side note apparently my build thread got moved to General discussion instead of the ZJ portion, OK!

To whomever moved my thread to the General Discussion, can it be moved back? I know some of the people that posted on the thread had subscribed and I think it might have messed up their subscription.

No, I thought it was weird too. Seemed to get a lot of views and posts over the weekend. Then I posted the last few pics and nothing. Tried looking for my own thread where I'd posted it (in the ZJ section) and couldn't find it. Had to go to my account to find where it was and saw that it had been moved to the General discussion. Not sure how "general" it is but OK!

Thank you! Just pulled my tires off the delivery truck so they'll get mounted and balanced while I pick up another bottle of argon so I can weld up my JCR bumper this weekend!

Well, damn it, these tires are going back. They mis-shipped 15s instead of 17s. Looks like I'm switching to Bridgestone Duelers....

That one... yep. They just released it about 2 weeks ago. I peeked at it a few days before buying my ZJ. Instantly loved the look. The first day it was offered on their site I placed my order.
