Still need to get the steering stabilizer on. Probably do that when we do the rear. Hopefully tomorrow but not for sure. Got family friends coming over in the morning and then work from 5-10:30 so doubt it.

When you put weight on the springs the should straighten out since when the rear flexes it goes up and back

Hmm. I'll see once I get the rear done. Maybe since I don't have it lifted its causing it to look like that...since it is at an angle now. I really want to call in to work tomorrow and take off so I can finish this lol...but the past 3 weeks I took off a few days cause of my grandpa so I don't think I will.

Haha. Well that's just since the tranny got put in 3 weeks ago. Most of my driving since then has been highway.

Question to anybody who knows the answer...To go straight my steering wheel is at a 90 degree angle from where it should be..To fix that do I need to take the track bar back off and correct it and then put the track bar back on or will that all be fixed when I take it in for an alignment?

no you need to jack the jeep up, make sure the wheels are straight and adjust the drag-link until the steering wheel is straight.

Hm Alright. Man I really want to take the day off work to finish this thing...Decisions decision...but then again...soon as I get the thing done, I have to spend around 300 for brakes, alignment and get the tires onto the wheels...My bank account will take a nice hit after that.

Yeah. I think I'm going to because my work week starts on Thursdays and goes through Monday...but I'm also working Tuesday...and (bare with me I'm only 17) they gave me 33 hours so my next paycheck is going to be pretty nice (compared to what I normally get) and because I just got a raise too. So the extra money is going to go towards a few things on the jeep

Talked to my step dad. He's going to finish up the lift today while I'm at work. Some buddies might come over and help out too, not sure yet. Also talked to him bout a wheeling trip. I mentioned around thanksgiving since neither of us would have to take off work or anything like that. Gonna head up to Tuttle Creek then! Pretty excited. We're gonna invite a few wheeling buddies too. One has a samurai, the others just go along for the fun!

Step dad got the rear of the lift installed while I was at work. Looks good! (as much as I can see it since its dark) I'll take some pictures in the morning. I still need to put the cross member spacers on in the morning then I'll be taking it over to get the brakes done, alignment, and put the new tires on.

On a side note-We thought the rear brakes were drums...turns out they are not. So thats a sigh of relief...but I don't have time to do them any time soon with work and school and some other stuff going on this week, so just going to have them do it while its at the shop. I should have it back by time I head to work tomorrow..and hopefully take her off road Wednesday!

Step dad noticed that when he put the new LCA's on the back, it seemed to rotate the diff. down. It looks as if its almost straight now...hopefully putting the spacers on will correct the angle of the driveshaft, if not I'll figure something out.
