Personally I would splurg on the mx if I could swing it. Pricy but then could be used on more than one vehicle - if it was a dedicated scanner then I would go your route.

99 Grand, 37" and mostly factory - Raised tank and trimmed fenders etc

Hey, I searched through the build and couldnt find the answer.. what brake lines did you end up using with the JK axles? are they JK lines or WJ lines?

i had custom longer WJ-style SS lines already, so they were used. i think the shop that did the axle install had to file or grind something on the JK calipers to make them work, but it was minor.

2 minute mod... i got a new point-n-shoot camera and needed somewhere to stash it.

so i attached this little storage pocket:

when it's zipped about a quarter of the way, i can slide the camera in and out easily but it won't go flying out on a turn or hill.

the pocket is a $9 Case Logic camera holder from Walmart. all it took was 4 holes and 2 zip ties. oh and of course i had to cut the logo off.
