I'm thinking of doing something similar in my zj with a tablet. Iv got an iPad 2. I put a center console in mine that's out of like a police car. I was looking at it this morning and there is a spot on it to mount somethin like a computer to it. I'm looking forward to what you do and get some ideas from your setup

Here's the console I made work in my zj.

I plan on making a cover to go from the front of it to the dash to cover up any wires that I have. Or will have coming out of the front.

Hey man, I searched your thread but didnt see what I was looking for so I will just ask.

You are still running 5.13 gears correct? I am getting closer to my JK axle swap and wanted to know what gears to purchase. for now I will have the stock 4.10's but will re-gear as soon as I can. If you chose what gears you wanted, would you stick with the 5.13's since the axles came that way or would you go a different route?
Thanks for the help man!
as always, love the pics, keep them comin!
Hope my axles are in the next time you make a Utah trip, I'd love to join!

i think the 5.13's would be better for 37's.

for 35's i'd go 4.92 or whatever ratio the JK has that's close to that. but the difference isn't enough to bother paying to change them. some people even run 35's on 4.56, that works well for a daily driver (MPG) but is a little wimpy offroad and when loaded-down and going up hill.

keep an eye out, we're headed to Utah this year at least once (Comb Ridge area). but you're welcome to come down here and wheel anytime with us too!

I think 4.56 are perfect for 33's.. I'd go 4.88 as well.
