scarrsky, bring whatever you want. I'm only 18 so no beer for me

mtnmarc, sounds good. Ill have to pick up some epoxy before this happens. would rubberized undercoat work?

Only 20 here too

I think rubber under coating would work even better. I just went with what I had laying around.

Ok, ill tel you my thoughts about rock auto.....

First thing I ordered from them was a heater core. Looked good. Pulled out the stock one and it was significantly larger than the rock auto one. Said ok, put it in anyways and called it golden. Drove the truck ONE day, heater core blew again.

Second thing.... ordered a water pump, thermostat, and drive belt. All the pretty good ones, but not the best. Drive belt is already starting to fray and show bad signs of wear, at maybe 7,000 miles or near 6 months. My water pump bearing is already crapping out as well and it was replaced at the same time.

So needless to say, I'm very hesitant to go back to them. But their service was very fast.

what brands did you buy from them? the parts I ordered are from pretty well known companies. not "rock-auto" brand. That's good info to know though, ill keep an eye on these parts.

Changed the power steering line and fuel filter today. Fuel filter wasn't too bad to change and PS line was a breeze. Hopefully no more leaks up front and some better mpgs

Since those parts are decent brands, I don't think you will have a problem with them.

yeah I knew the wix filter would be goo because that's what practically everyone on here changes theirs with. And the power steering line fit no problem and seemed like it was made pretty well.

Time to try to convince my dad to let me cut my fenders this week.
