The iron-y is for the drivers right? So what do you do about the passenger upper control arm?

Yes, the Y is the driver's side. The passenger side does not have any arms connecting to the upper mount......hence the 3-link design.

scar - I totally read over that

heretolearn - I used Krylon Fusion spray paint in the "satin" black finish. Its great! No real prep work, just clean it really well with warm soapy water. I put 3-4 coats on.

Ordered a set of Teraflex springs today. hopefully with graduation next month I'll rake in enough cash to get the rest of the necessary parts to finish the new lift.

Scratch that on the springs. Had an "epiphany" yesterday. Gonna stay with my lift, add a 3/4 spacer, skids, sliders, and adjustable control arms. When these tires are done I'll cut the fenders and slap 33x11.5s on.

Nice jeep man.

Good way to save on that extra 1/4 inch and get some sliders.

The teraflex springs are nice, but after 2 years on my jeep, they have sagged a lot and lean passenger at least 1.5 inches.

Thanks man. I plan on trying to stay lower in lift and just make it plenty protected. Anyways I'm more of a trail guy than a crawler.

I see your in grass valley, perhaps we will cross paths sometime!

How do you like your IRO CA's? I'm trying to plan which ones I want. I'm between IRO and Iron Man.

I'm sure we will. Ha.

After my jeep has gone under the knife, we should go wheeling.

My Iro ca's are nice, nothingreally to compare them to, but the have worked well for me. I'd go Iro just for their customer service. It's awesome.

What are you doing to it? I want to make a trip to Strawberry Pass this summer. I know there are a couple other WJ guys in the area maybe we could plan some sort of trip.

IRO's CS is great! Thanks for the info.

That would be funny if we all went wheeling. All 3 of our jeeps are very very similar.

Well today I heard anew "noise" i hadn't heard before so I looked and found "splattered" oil in my drivers side front wheel well, with a drip on the control arm and shock. Also found "rips" in my front drive shaft on the joint conectgetd to the transfer case. Yay
