Went to Donner lake this week and my transmission decided to blow on me. The mechanic said 3rd and 4th gear dont exist anymore.

Planning/Starting PART 2/3! This will take a while as I'm leaving for college in August, but it will indeed happen

Part 2
- Fix Transmission
- Trim Fenders
- Install JCR Stage 3 rock sliders
- Front and rear axles out of a V8 WJ
- 4.10 Gears
- 33s

Part 3
- Clayton 6" (maybe with my .75 spacers?)
- Kevin's Belly Skid for Clayton kits
- 35s
- ECGS Front and Rear D60
- 4.56 Gears
- Some sort of locker either in the front, rear, or both
- Make bumpers

Transmission is fixed! All it needed was a new solenoid, although the band is wearing out so that needs to be replaced soon.

Time to put in a new fuel filter, instal my sliders and cut up the fenders!

Those are some nice plans!

If you want 60s, you can do it way cheaper finding axles off older trucks. But if you only plan to run 35s, a 44/9 inch combo seems more suitable.

But til then, my axles seem to be a good decision.

I know 60s might be "too much" for 35s but the ECGS comes ready to bolt in. I have no fabrication skills, or a welder, so it might be cheaper for me just to buy the pre made axle then to buy a used axle and have someone fab up mounts for me. But thanks for the info, I have a ton of more time before I do the swap, so I'll do my research.

Maybe by the time you are ready for the swap, someone will make a bolt in 44.

I stared my sliders today, but ended up going to Prairie City. Finishing the sliders tomorrow. I cleaned the crap out of it tonight!

Sliders are on. Up next: Fully cut fenders and tank tuck. Possibly a FIPK this summer.

These things are beefy. Although they are a PITA to put on, I totally recommend them.

Looks more and more like mine! Ha jk.

My sliders are my favorite mod. They have saved me multiple times.

I know we do. We all have to get together and wheel one of these weekends.

Let me know when you do ur tank tuck. I'll lend a hand if you need and hopefully learn something before I decide to do one. I want to soon.

Sounds good. My sister boyfriend is pretty good with a welder so he will be helping me. This is the guide I'll be going by. I'll let you know and you can come help/watch/learn.

Sounds good man. I have no welding skills right now but I'm hoping to learn soon.

If needed as well, I can lend a hand. I did mine. I could give some tips/pointers.

Sounds good, i want to cut my fenders to and I know you could somewhat help with that as well. My only question with that is how to seal the rear halves back together
