I'm thinking a rubicon run in June or July would be nice. I know a couple people that would like to come, not WJs, but people nonetheless.

I'm not sure exactly the date it will be done Ryan. If its done, I'll go with you guys.

I already plan on a con trip in late June with the auburn jeep club. Any trips I hear about, I want to go on. Ha. Work is the big factor though. Having split days off sucks. I go wheeling with my boss so I'll try to get him to switch my schedule to be able to go on trips easier.

My buddy is planning a Rubi trip on the 15th of June I believe. Anyone know if Strawberry will be open this year?

I've never been to strawberry trail. Its up 50 right?

And I'll have to talk to Greg about the calculated number. I know he's switched it up a few times with clearance issues. And thanks, its been a long time saving parts and all that. And its awesome that Greg is at the shops he's at and has time to deal with all the issues that have come up.

I've been looking at fuel cells recently after it passes smog this year, I'm thinking about putting a fuel cell in the back and clearing up some space to slide the axle back and cut more in the rear fender wells. Haven't looked into too much detail, as I just want to get it back and go wheel the crap out of it. I'm sure there is a way to keep all the evap system stuff functioning with a fuel cell, just need to do more searching.

I've never been to strawberry either and haven't checked the land use section on pirate in a while. I know there has been a lot of Northern California closures. I'm hoping to make the rubicon an every other weekend or every third weekend event this summer. Was pretty much that way last year. I live so close that we can take a lot of overnight trips. I'm down for almost anytime I have off work.

I currently have Wednesday and Sunday off. But if we hire a new kid, I'll have a rotating schedule with Saturday Sunday, or Sunday Monday off. So hopefully that happens soon. I could always head out Saturday after work and camp.

I may have to do something like that. But a fuel cell is more aestheticly pleasing to the eye. Ha.

Progress today. Bracing the coilover mount.

Some plating to the lower control arm mounts.

Go ahead and tell Greg he might as well just go ahead and make a second set of the front and rear coilover mounts for good measure. Seems to me there is another white WJ in the Sacramento area that wants some new CO's.

buy my 12"s. i found a place with hella good deals on fox and king coilovers, emulsion, reservoir and piggybacks. might have to go 16" in the front and move the 14"s out back that will be decided later. that would also make me go into the body in the back, darn, time to cage it

the lower control arm mounts and going next to the cross member. greg cut the outer 2 bolts off for clearance. im hoping a more high clearance tube cross member will come out of it

You planning on doing anything with the exhaust since the third cat is so out there? And any ideas of clocking the transfer case?

I only have one cat and its out of the way of the cross member. No real way to clock the t case without smashing up the floor board.
