Your talking about when you made use of your sliders and I took the bypass on the right hand side right? With the weight of the axles in the back and not having rocker protection I don't think I would have been able to open my doors after lol. Sliders went on today and 6.5" coils will be going on saturday. Next time I'm out there I will definitely hit that line and maybe try the first rock face also. Now I just need to buy my gears and then start shopping for some tires.

Sounds like I might get a good deal on a JK rubi front 44 complete with chromos

Damn. Went wheeling last night and bent my tie rod. So I'm in a pickle....

Fix the Dana 30 with a tie rod, ball joints, and rotors.
Or bend the tie rod back as much as possible and maybe sleeve it if needed, adjust the toe to get everything decent again, and put the money towards the Dana 44.

havent been buying much for the jeep lately, life is getting in the way.

i did however change the diff fluids and another oil change. idk how long it has been since last diff service, but i felt like it was time to change the fluid. it still was relatively clean. also checked the gears and carrier, no chips or cracks. also found out i need bigger tires, front and rear center sections had scrapping on the bottom. and the front lower most bolt was smashed and had the hardest time getting it off.

im really debating getting an rc crawler to wheel while the jeep has balding tires and is my dd. like this

http://gmade.net/dealer/images/r1_1.jpg

anddddd ive also been debating since i have mostly everything to do the coilover install and long arms, i might just build it up with the stock axles and when i can afford to swap the 44 and 14 bolt in, everything will already be built.

Save your money and skip the RC crawler. I wanna see coilovers now!!

Then I wanna drive it and convince my bank account I need coilovers. Are they 2.0 12" FOA's front and rear? I think that's what I remember.

14s for the front and 12s for the rear.

If I put the coilovers in now, I need to cut up the axles a little to clean them up. I might be able to just put some tabs on it to keep it still "bolt in" for when I sell it. The front im not too worried about because it will need some work to get decent enough to put in another jeep. Ball joints, rotors, tie rod. But I could sell the calipers and knuckles for a wj brake swap for tj guys.

And I need to see if the heims will fit in the stock lower control arm mounts at the axles. Then make or find some front and rear upper control arm mounts at the frame side. Not a whole lot, just stuff that will need my dd to be down for a while.
