My first batch of foas came in today! 12 inch travel for the rears.






99 WJ hp44, 3 link, Eaton e locker, 14" foa coilovers in the front. 14 bolt, 4 link, grizzly locker, 12" foa coilovers in the rear. 5.38s and 37s

Have you heard about Johnson valley? Go to pirate and check out the massive letter on the front page.

Ya, that would help a lot. I'm thinking about buying the sye soon and just putting the 231 in there.

My build slowed down a big so it would be nice to have 2wd for the summer.

Cut it in half with die grinder. Flip the bottom piece cut the top piece diagonal bevel both pieces. Measurement should be 2.90" to 3.00" center of the pin to the center of the hole. Test fit it to male sure that it clears everything and weld it up all the way when you get it tweaked just right.
You will also have to move your cable to the bottom hole.

im not gunna be on tons!

only a dana 44 front. but 14 bolt rear. im not gunna fully build the 44, just locker. im gunna keep stock shafts, machine my flat top knuckles, gears, and maybe a diff cover. if anything horrible happens like i blow up a ring gear, i want to build a 609 like agitatedpancake

but ya, that would be sick to be near you.

im not going to be the one building my jeep, my place is no where near big enough to build it. my garage is packed and my driveway is dirt. ha.

I saw where the 231 you had didnt have the speed sensor and I was wondering if you knew were to get the 3-wire connector for it. I just picked up a np242 out of a zj and it has the sensor but it didnt have the plug and wires. I have looked and looked but cant find anything??

i looked and looked....why did you go with a 14 bolt???

that sucker is huge!!! and your tires are small, you are going to drag on everything.


at least give it a mega shave like we did on mine...

Idk whew the speed sensor wiring is. I bought it how it is. I'm gunna pick up a super short sye that has a speed sensor in the kit. Did you try advanced adapters? They might have one.

For strength, ha. I'm not sure if I'm gunna shave it right now. I'll decided when it comes time to slap it under.

And these tires are just for this lift, I might sell them, or maybe keep them for street use. I'm planning on 37 inch km2s, but depending on how MGDWJs looks with 37s, I might go 40s :-)
